Summer Party with Parents

The end of the school year! Hurrah! 

We celebrated by throwing a fun party at school. It was nautical themed and everyone came dressed appropriately. We had a blast! Not only did we perform for the parents and how off what we learned this year, but we also got a presentation from the teachers. The school garden was decorated with ocean themed decor and pictures from each class. One of the best parts was the poster with quotes and funny pictures from the children. 

Because our school is international, we encouraged parents to bring food from their native country for everyone to try. It was veritable feast! So many healthy treats to nibble on and enjoy. We also had home-made ice-cream to eat, made from the Cooking club at school. We had four flavors to choose from: chocolate, strawberry, forest berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries), and mango vanilla. They were such a relief to try after spending time in the hot hot sun!

We ended the party with games in the garden, and a dodge ball water balloon fight! While it lasted less than 5 minutes, it was a blast and everyone enjoyed getting wet.
