Summer Garden Care

During our summer program at school, the children have lots of activities to do. However, they really care about the well being of our school garden. This hot weather leaves our plants thirsty and dry, so the children take part in caring for them. They listen to our school caretaker who tells them the correct way and where to water them. The children are enthusastic to help and even argue over who gets to water what area. They are ready for the harvest, even though it will take some more weeks. But we can't wait and it looks like it will be bountiful!
