Planting for summer

This week, we weeded and cleaned our garden plot at school with the help of teachers. We cleared the soil and prepared it for planting. We dug two rows and we planted two types of peas, sugar snap peas and yellow split peas. Then we dug a row for beans and stuck in stakes for them to grow on. 

We also had a delicious snack in the garden in order to commemorate the start of the planting. We enjoyed the refreshing morning air, which was cooler thanks to the thunderstorm. A great day at Lipa preschool :)
