Chefs in Training - Two-toned Fitness Balls
This week we really stressed our fine motor skills. We started with a mixture of healthy ingredients; tvaroh, white yogurt, a little honey, chia seeds, peanut butter, and hemp seeds. We tried to identify each ingredient by the smell. The most important thing was to add enough shredded coconut to make the mixture stick together. After all of this was mixed, we split it into a ratio of 2:1 and then added a bit of 100% cocoa to the larger amount, and raisins to the smaller amount. We first rolled the smaller white amount into balls and let them cool in the fridge. We then made the larger brown mixture into a sort of pancake, placed the smaller white ball inside and covered it with the cocoa mixture. We put these in the fridge overnight and had for yummy snack.
