Chefs in Training - Strawberry Terrine
We made a delicious strawberry terrine this week! It was made by whipping softened cream cheese until it has a creamier consistency, which required a lot of muscle work. After, we added a little bit of vanilla extract, honey, and a container of white yogurt. We had to mix it very well, otherwise there would be clumps. At the same time, other children were cutting up strawberries to mix inside. We then sprinkled gelatin over warm water, heated it up briefly, and mixed it with the creamy mixture. After pouring half the mixture into the mold, we placed three strawberries in a line, and then covered them with the remaining half mixture. We left them to harden overnight in the fridge and enjoyed them for a nice creamy snack.
