Chefs in Training - Fresh rolls

After learning some recipes from our Mother's Day celebration, we decided to try it out with the children. We whipped up fresh cheese and added spices and herbs that we liked, and mixed it together to form a nice spread. We used non-fatty ham as a base to spread on the cream cheese mixture. After, we added natural cheese and/or apple slices, which we then rolled and held in place with a toothpick. We had different options for children who don't like meat or cheese. We made plenty, so that we could share with the rest of the school.
