Chefs in Training - Carrot balls
This week the Cooking club made healthy carrot balls, full of nutritious goodness. We started by learning how to use a grater, and grating two carrots into fine pieces. After, we mixed in different kinds of raisins, crushed nuts, chia seeds, and oats to make a nice healthy mixture. We then added in a little honey, a little bit of date syrup, and nut butter to combine everything in to a fine dough like material. We used our skills to roll the dough in small balls, which we left in the fridge to cool and harden. We got to take them home to share with our moms and dads.
